I’m a sucker for a gloss finish and I love this glossy green! Painted onto a chunky desk and chunky shelves it makes a great impact, I bet that took a few coats though!

Hampton Court Palace Flower Show – one week to go!
June 29, 2009With the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show not far away I thought I’d show you one of my favourite gardens from previous years. I love the over hanging wooden bench nestled within the flower bed, what a perfect spot to read a good book – especially as the trickling sound of the water spout towards the back of the garden would create a real Zen atmosphere.

June 23, 2009I’m indulging my current obsession with paint effects again! Check out this living room. I love how these large circles over lap each other and dominate the back wall. The scheme is coordinated by repeating the pink and grey in the accessories around the room.

June 22, 2009The owners of this bathroom have used a panel of water-resistant wallpaper to add a splash of pattern. I think it looks great as you walk into the room. I’m considering covering the doors of my bathroom cabinet in something similar to get the effect.
