Magnet’s Rio kitchen: from high street to home!

I remember first seeing Magnet‘s Rio kitchen and wondering how many people would go for such a sugary stripey look. It was designed to be an accent range – perfect for adding splashes of colour – so imagine my surprise when I saw that someone had missed the memo (intentionally or not) and covered their ENTIRE kitchen in the range – and teamed with matching lime walls and matching pink appliances! Yowch!! I just can’t figure out whether the designers at Magnet would be delighted or rolling in their … paint trays! Thoughts welcome.

Not a fan of the kitchen in either setting but whoever owns the all over stripes kitchen clearly loves it and isn’t that the main thing?

  2. Andrew Long Says:

Crumbs – certainly a bold statement! As Jools says, if the owner likes it, job done.

  3. Linda Paul Says:

The memo challenged kitchen is a little painful. it would be a lot better without the green wall and pink appliances

Wow! I’m all for being different and colourful so good on ‘em. Not me taste though!
