Sliding doors

I really like this idea from Dwell. By choosing sliding doors between the contemporary bedroom and bathroom, they can either create an open-plan feel, or get some privacy (often essential when all you need is a nice relaxing bath in peace!). Plus, sliding doors are great for saving space – perfect for compact schemes.

what a great idea the sliding tv screen is. it would be nice to hang a large lovely picture on it so that there’s an alternative focal point for someone sitting on the sofa when it’s closed.

Brilliant way to protect those easily damaged/scratched LCD screens from little children too.
