Missed the Ideal Home Show this year? Fear not! Although I was lucky enough to have a quick mosey round, i’ve only just seen the photos from the day – now everyone can get the ideas without paying for the ticket! The room sets are PACKED with decorating inspiration to sink your teeth into (not literally … although that might be an idea for next year?).

Copper mosaic tiles are perfect for a hint of spa-chic style, and those large chunky candles just scream ‘leave me alone, i’m relaxing!’.

I love the retro-style square door handles in this bedroom, perfect for giving a bargain bit of furniture a designer look (just keep it schtum!)
country garden decking
This cute garden decking area is all about the finishing touches, pot shelves to liven up the walls, and pretty bunting to set the garden party mood.

Is it a chandelier? Is it an extractor hood? I know most people have seen this by now, but I really do love it – the glossy purple kitchen splashback and unit are fab, too!
funky children's bedroom
For me, the seating area is the best bit of this children’s room. They can ‘chill’ (i can’t pull that off anymore) with their mates and listen to music together – parents KEEP OUT!

Really like the design of the bathroom at the top of the page. It does seem to be part bathroom part living room though!
