I could sit in design sponge‘s ‘sneak peak’ section and blow bubbles!! I love checking out their latest house tours, there really is nothing like a bit of glorified INTERIOR STALKING, and design sponge have them for every style from country to modern!
I’ve been thinking about children’s room decorating this week, so I’ve been especially on the look out for those (although, I admit, I got distracted by some daydream-inducing homes!) Here are some of my most memorable children’s bedroom looks from this morning’s travels to stylesville.
This children’s bedroom scheme couldn’t be more folk-inspired if it had trees and cuckoo clocks climbing the walls! … oh wait.
Cool blue walls, white-painted furniture and splashes of vibrant colour – this boy’s bedroom scheme might be simple but it’s sure to stand the test of time (and by that I mean the time the boy decides he’s too old for teddies). Those star door knobs are really cute.
Hmmmmmm, not sure about the olive green headboard, but I like the retro feel of this children’s room. There’s also a swinging Sixties hanging chair in the corner which makes it the ultimate chill-out space.
As a rule, it’s best to keep children’s bedroom schemes neutral so that they can be updated as the kids grow up BUT how can you resist a vibrant wall shade, that’ll still be as funky in 10 years?
