Learn more about us

For me, there’s nothing better than morning style stalking or afternoon trend spotting! I just can’t get enough of peering inside people’s homes (on the web of course) and checking out the latest living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. That’s why I love working for www.housetohome.co.uk.
I’m usually green with envy at some of the rooms I see … but I occasionally come across some rooms that make me feel green in another way.
Above all, I just love sharing my latest finds (and opinions) with other decorating lovers, and finding out what your thoughts are. So let the room judging begin!
Whether you’re lusting over a kitchen scheme or poking fun at the latest decorating trend, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
p.s follow roomenvy on twitter for more rating and slating!

Hi Ben,
I too am an addict (hence the name of my site/blog). I’d love for you to check out my blog, and let me know what you think. Maybe we can exchange linkback’s on each other’s site?
Toodles!

Hi Ben,
Stumbled on your blog here in the US. I was wondering if any UK decor addicts ever want to convert “staid” recessed lighting to chic pendant lights. Our small co. manufacturers a first-of-its-kind conversion kit that transforms can lights to pendants as easily as changing a light bulb. Do you think there’s a market for this in the UK? We sell exclusively in the US now.

I don’t think there would be much call for grills over here, but definitely lighting. We do have some good suppliers already, but recessed lighting is very popular

I think your invention sounds a great idea. I’m over recessed lighting myself (even though it’s what I have at home because I have low ceilings) but there’s lots of scope for people with more space. I’d go for it if I were you. Maybe email the editors at livingetc magazine and they might have ideas for who you could partner with to distribute the kits or do a story on it.

Dear Jenny,
I stumbled across your blog the other day and thought I would be cheeky and introduce my fledgling business Crumpet & Skirt to you as I think that it would appeal to you and your blog readers. I use the fabulous sexiness of 50’s pin up girls as an inspiration using them in simple designs that showcase the images in a classy and retro way. No need to hide them when Granny comes for Tea!
Currently I have wrapping paper, greetings cards, tea towels and peek-a-boo mugs available, with a number of other products in development.
The best way to really introduce my designs is probably to send you to my website!

Hi Jenny
We’ve recently launched pimpmyart.co.uk stocking some really cool wall art. We run a design agency and have been creating illustrations for bespoke jobs for years and decided to start selling to the general public. All designs are 100% original and we can even make wall art to order from customers photos and briefs.
All the wall art is printed directly onto a plastic substrate with durable UV colorfast inks reducing costs by 60% compared to standard canvases. Prints will last upto 75 years and are completely wipe clean.

Hi
I just wanted to send you a message as I absolutely love your blog which is really refreshing and with some great stuff on it. Compliments! You seem to be talking the same language as us here at http://www.thesleeproom.com where we sell gorgeous beds online. So it’s always nice to see like-minded stuff on the web. I was wondering if you might mention us on one of your blog posts as I would be really delighted to be in such good company? In fact, we’d all love it here! Hope to hear from you and congratulations once again on your brilliant site.
Very best regards
