Can I come in? Luxurious country garden

April 27, 2010

Sundays in the park? Move over! Check out this stunning Sussex country garden – it’s enough to rival any Chelsea Flower Show Garden, and has left me with serious GARDEN ENVY!

I’d expect nothing less from Homes & Gardens‘ stylish readers, this beautiful outdoor space was designed from scratch and provides oodles of glamour and pure swankyness!

Fancy a little tour?

What a stunner! This is a child’s dream getaway – a great place to pretend you’re starting your own B&B at the age of 7 (orĀ  was that just me?)

This is one of the main features of this garden. The globes add a real designer-chic vibe.

Fancy a spot of champagne as the sun goes down? (something tells me the owners don’t drink cheap Chardonnay) then layout beautiful woven furniture on the patio and relax!

And then there’s the billiards room … this really is one of the poshest gardens I’ve seen … and I LOVE it!

Lunchtime lust: beautiful patio designs

April 14, 2010

I know I know, MORE garden patio designs – what can I say? I have the summer fever … that excitable feeling where all you can see is barbecues with friends and family, brightly coloured cocktails and evening chitter chatter as the sun goes down.

Be inspired by these beautiful garden patio designs, they’re packed with great ideas to incorporate in your outdoor space.

Create a colourful and comfy seating area, with Eastern-inspired cushions and a hanging canopy …

Go for the indoor-outdoor look by raising your patio to kitchen floor level, and installing an arbour overhead.

If you have the luxury of a split-level patio, you can have all sorts of fun creating different zones for eating, and for chilling. I love the Indian-style parasol and the brightly-coloured hanging lanterns.
