Not losing confidence after the ‘weird and wonderful gardens’ escapade, I found this beautiful pastel garden idea on Housetohome. Pretty chalky pastel shades are a great way to update a tired looking scheme, and I love their easy ways to create the look.
1) Update a white garden table by rolling on a pink flower border.
2) Create a pretty centrepiece with old candles painted in pastel shades.
3) Spruce up an eclectic mix of garden chairs with a chalky pastel paint.
4) Hang vintage accessories like birdcages and bunting to bring the scheme together.
5) Eat enough fairy cakes to sink a small ship – ok, well they don’t actually suggest that one …

I love this idea and the colour scheme. I might start collecting now to create it next summer.
